Tickets for a special paranormal investigation tour in one of Edinburgh's most haunted and mysterious locations are on sale for next month, prompting thrill seekers to camp out through the night.
The South Bridge vaults have become a popular destination for fans of ghouls and ghosts or even thrilling tales of what they were used for centuries ago.
At the end of February, Auld Reekie Tours are giving customers the chance to perform a stake-out and plunge into a paranormal activity investigation underground the capital's Old Town.
On their website they say: "Join us for a bone-chilling paranormal investigation at South Bridge Vaults in Edinburgh, one of the most haunted locations in the UK.
"Edinburgh is renowned for being one of the most haunted places in Britain and the South Bridge Vaults are internationally famous for being one of the most active places within the city."
The event will take place on the evening of February 26 and will go on to the early hours of Sunday, February 27.
Auld Reekie tours provide historical and ghost tours throughout the capital, with regular visits to the vaults available to book online. This visit, however, is special as those brave enough to take part will be metres below the surface all night from 11:55pm-5am.
First, guests will be introduced to the history surrounding the vaults, stemming from the 18th century, and explore the dark history as to why they are regarded as haunted and paranormal.

Them, a full investigation experimenting with various practices and using a collection of professional ghost hunting equipment will take place.
A refreshment break with hot and cold drinks and snacks will also be provided for those who can't go without a midnight snack.
One of the most chilling and spine tingling experiences from the vaults in recent years was the supposed sighting of 'The Watcher' in 2015.
