When it comes to keeping your children safe, especially in their first few years of life, most parents know there's little that can compare to the all-round, 24-hour-a-day surveillance of a nanny cam.
Since they're watching everything that happens in their child's room day and night, you can be sure that they'll pick up things that even the human eye may have missed.
And that is exactly what happened in 2016 when Australian mum Jade Gates checked in on her little girl to see a terrifying apparition appear in the bottom right-hand corner of her nanny cam's footage.
The footage itself shows an eerie, ghostly figure moving back and forth, first over the cot, and then slowly moving down the side and back up again, as if pacing the room.
Whether or not you're a cynic when it comes to the supernatural, it can be pretty difficult to place your finger on what else such a strange, wispy figure in your child's room might be.
Paranormal Investigator Dan Sturges said of the incident: "There is a theory in haunting of what they call deathbed apparitions, and whenever somebody passes, they seem to check in on friends and family members."
