Ghost Caught On Video at Mountain HS

Ghost Caught On Video at Mountain HS

A shocking video recently shared by a local El Pasoan and reshared by FitFamElPaso shows the terrifying moment where a ghost appears on camera.

Mountain View High School, which is part of Clint ISD, opened in 1989, servicing less than 500 students in grades 7-10, and in 1992 became a full high school for grades 9 -12.

In typical scary movie fashion, the video shows a teacher who sits in an empty classroom (sitting skeleton and all) while engaging in an online class when all of a sudden you can see movement happening in the back of the room.

As the teacher conducts her class, you can see that a blue curtain begins to move as if someone is hiding behind it in the back of the classroom.

Soon after, something is seen glide across the bottom of the curtain, followed by a knock which finally grabs the teacher's attention.

I have no explanation for any of this, but I'm sure that after seeing the video herself, I doubt that teacher will be stepping back into the classroom alone.

It's also interesting to note that the book Haunted Places In Texas by Sean Mosley indicates that bodies buried along the side of the road along Ascension Blvd. might be responsible for the hauntings in the area. Stories even tell of a man seen late at night walking between Mountain View and Horizon High.

It's no secret that El Paso is a hotbed of paranormal activity and home to so many haunted places, from schools and restaurants to old fire stations and dozens of buildings across the city. I often joke that El Paso should be nicknamed The Old Haunted City By the Rio Grande because you can come across ghostly apparitions just about anywhere.

Just last year, El Paso even ranked as the top place for the most ghost sightings in Texas, no doubt thanks to its historical past dating back to the 16th century – during the Middles Ages.

So whether or not you believe in ghosts - it's hard to deny all the paranormal activity that occurs daily in the Sun City, or I should say the Old Haunted City By The Rio Grande.

What do you think is happening in this video captured at Mountain View High School?
