Being seduced by an attractive woman only to find out she is a hideous ghoul sounds like something out of a horror movie, but some claim it is a very real occurrence. Rather than strange beings that go bump in the night, some say there are creatures who would like to bump in the night.
One author, Gavin Davies, has written a book on the subject, titled 'Ghost Sex'.
Swansea's strange and seductive
One tail from the book comes from Swansea, Wales. It recounts the harrowing tale of a hitchhiking that could have gone so right going very, very wrong. As it turns out, Swansea is a haunted place.
The man, simply named John to protect his identity from potential ridicule, was on his way back from a date that had "gone horribly wrong", Davies said.
He saw a beautiful woman by the side of the road, looking for a ride. As any kind gentleman who had been a bad date would, he pulled over to the pick the young lady up to take her home. During their trip back, the pair decided to detour past a public toilet for a late night rendezvous, which Davies told Wales Online was "too graphic to describe."
However, John soon found things turning awry.
"I started to smell something strange, at first I thought it was like a cigarette smell," he told the author.
"I was choking, and I thought I was going to die. I was crying and everything."
The beautiful young woman before him had turned into a hideous old woman, with an equally disturbing skin condition. He pushed her back, screamed and then she vanished. Just like that.
The phenomenon is called Spectro philia and has been happening throughout human history. In the 80s, a woman reported that she was sexually attacked by a spirit in her own home. More recently, actress Natasha Blasick also claims to have had sex with a ghost.
